TAXI RIMBAUD
Addis Ababa 2018/2019, Harar 2019.
The photography of Arthur Rimbaud by Carjat from 1871 keeps wandering the streets of Addis Abeba, posted on old blue taxis. Despite so many collages that have been displayed in more than a year; this image always on the move, remains a specially emotional memory of the poet who spent the last years of his life in Harar, in eastern Ethiopia.
I continued this project in Harar on Peugeot 404 taxis.
