This series made at Noboribetsu on the south coast of Hokkaido refers to the method of Ed Ruscha in "Every Building on the Sunset Strip".
The way these houses were built has nothing to do with art and this is precisely what attracted me. By the way, a road and a concrete seawall separate them from the ocean making this place uninspiring for the visitors.
